About the Festival 

Welcome to the California Capital International Documentary Film Festival, the Sacramento region’s only documentary film festival! Founded in 2022, we are proud to celebrate our  fourth year of showcasing powerful and inspiring documentary films from around the globe. In just three years, we have experienced tremendous growth and are excited to continue expanding our reach and impact.
